Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya are back together, 14 months after their ugly separation. The two have reconciled for the sake of their kids.
After going through a very ugly public separation, it seems Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife Aaliya Siddiqui have decided to reconcile for the sake of their daughter Shora and son Yaani. Aaliya recently shared a family photo celebrating her and Nawazuddin’s 14th wedding anniversary, which led to speculation about their reconciliation. Now, Aaliya has confirmed that the couple is indeed back together.
Aaliya, who lives in Dubai with her kids, shared that it was important for her to share the happy news about Nawazuddin visiting her and kids on their wedding anniversary. “In recent times, a few things have changed in my life. I felt that when we shared bad things with the world, we should also share the good ones. I feel what’s good should also be seen. Nawaz was also here so we celebrated the anniversary with the kids,” Aaliya told ETimes.
Aaliya further shared, “I feel the problem we faced in our relationship were always because of a third person. But now that misunderstanding is out of our lives. Because of our kids, we’ve completely surrendered. There’s no option of being apart in life now, because the kids are also growing up. Also, Nawaz is very close to Shora and she was very disturbed after whatever happened. She couldn’t tolerate it. So we decided that we are not going to fight any more and will live together, peacefully.”
This is for the second time the couple decided to reconcile after announcing their separation. In May 2020, Aaliya had sent the actor a divorce notice via WhatsApp and email, alleging that their marriage had been troubled for some 10-odd years. Aaliya had also accused Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas of violence. Nearly a year later, she decided to withdraw the divorce notice and announced her intention of reconciling with Nawazuddin.
