Nclat: NCLAT upholds NCLT order allowing voluntary insolvency proceedings of Go First – Times of India

New Delhi: National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) retained a on Monday NCLT Distressed permission order go firstis voluntary bankruptcy Resolution proceedings.
A two-member bench of NCLAT asked several aircraft lessees of GoFirst, who are contesting the insolvency, to approach the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for any remedy.
“The impugned order dated May 10, 2023 is allowed to stand insolvent,” said the NCLAT bench headed by Chairperson Justice D.K. Ashok Bhushan,
The direction came in a batch of four petitions filed by aircraft lessors opposing the insolvency proceedings of GoFirst. The lessees are SMBC Aviation Capital Limited, GY Aviation, SFV Aircraft Holdings and Engine Leasing Finance BV (ELFC).
