Noida: A 5-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and attacked with a sharp knife by his neighbor in Sector 112, leaving him with cut wounds on his neck, face and legs. The police have registered a case of attempt to murder and started investigation.
The complainant, Ranjit Verma, a resident of Gonda, Sector 112, said that Deepak Chaurasia, a neighbor of his, had abducted his son and injured him. Police said that the complainant and the accused have an old enmity. Verma told that about seven-eight days ago, Chaurasia had an argument with his wife.
“When my wife told me about it, I didn’t give importance to it and didn’t inform the police. On Monday at 10.30 am Chaurasia came outside my house on his bike. My 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son The daughter-old son was playing outside the house. Chaurasia kidnapped my son and made him sit on the bike. When my daughter tried to stop him, he pushed her,” said Verma. Hearing the screams of the children, Verma’s wife came out of the house and informed others.
“Initially, we searched for Chaurasia in the locality and nearby areas. At 11.30 am, Chaurasia called my wife, saying my son was with him, and then switched off his phone. At 12.30 pm At 11:00, we called the 112 emergency helpline number.” Half an hour later, information was received about a five-year-old child being admitted to CHC Bhangel for treatment. The police told Verma that the boy was lying injured near a cremation ground in Bhuda village. Verma said, “I took my son to Yatharth Hospital. Chaurasia allegedly abducted my son to kill him. We demand strict action against him.”
Police registered an FIR against Chaurasia at Sector 113 police station under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 363 (kidnapping).
