What Congress could not do in 60 years, the Modi government did in 10 years, Thakur said.

What Congress could not do in 60 years, the Modi government did in 10 years, Thakur said.

Thakur asserted that PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government has fulfilled all its promises, be it abrogating articles 370 and 35A, ending triple talaq or building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

Opposition’s INDIA bloc has been formed by bringing together all corrupt people in the country, said Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Speaking at News18 India’s Chaupal, the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting asserted confidence that BJP will cross the 400 mark in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Thakur asserted that PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government has fulfilled all its promises, be it abrogating articles 370 and 35A, ending triple talaq or building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

“In the Modi government, development work is not done considering anyone’s religion and caste, and those who are entitled are given their rights. While giving rights, no one was asked about his caste. This is the biggest example of secularism. Ram Mandir has worked to unite the country. On the day of Pran Pratishtha, ‘bhandaras’ were organized in Gurudwaras and outside the mosques,” he said.

Taking a swipe at previous Prime Minister Manmohan Singh-led UPA government, Thakur said, “The former PM was an economist. When he became PM, the country’s economy was at number 10 and when he left after 10 years, it was still at number 10. At the same time, when a tea seller became the PM of the country, he brought the country’s economy from 10th to fifth position. This is the ability of PM Modi. For him the national interest is paramount.”

“What Congress could not do in 60 years, the Modi government did in 10 years,” he added.

On being asked about ED’s action of former Jharkhand CM Hemant, the Minister said if he had done corruption, then he would have to go “where his real place is”.

“Similarly, Arvind Kejriwal including Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia and Satendra Jain are all involved in corruption. Arvind Kejriwal did the opposite of what he said. Earlier he had talked about not buying a bungalow, but he built a glass palace. He had talked about not buying a car, but he bought a big car. Had said not to take security, then took the security of two states,” Thakur said.
