Nokia XR21 design and specifications leak: Here’s what to expect – Times of India

HMD Global is reportedly planning to launch a new rugged smartphone called the Nokia XR21explains a report from Winfuture.de. The new Rugged will be an upgraded version of last year’s Nokia XR20, Although the device was previously referred to as Nokia XR30, now it is dubbed as Nokia XR21.
As per the publication, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is provided with 5G octa-core processor. Nokia XR21 will feature a 6.49-inch LCD offering resolution of 2400×1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Furthermore, the XR21 will carry the IP68 dust and water-resistant certification. The weight of the smartphone will be 235 grams.
The rear camera setup includes a primary 64MP sensor from OmniVision and an 8MP sensor with zoom optics. It will have a 16MP sensor inside the middle punch-hole cutout.
The smartphone will launch with Android 12 out-of-the-box and will receive operating system updates till May 2026, with another year for security updates.
The Nokia XR21 5G will be fueled by a 4800mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging. The smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, WiFi 6 and two NanoSIM slots with eSIM support. Furthermore, the XR21 will have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is no word on when the Nokia XR21 will launch, but we can expect it to launch soon.
The Nokia X20 was launched in India a few weeks back and is priced at Rs 46,999. Nokia XR20 sports a 6.67-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor and is available in 6GB or 8GB RAM options. The phone runs on Android 11 and has a 4470mAh battery. The Nokia X20 sports a 64MP quad-camera setup on the rear and a 32-megapixel front camera.
