The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has directed the Tehsildar of Athur in Dindigul district to consider a representation made for removal of encroachment on a water body in Keelakottai village of Athur.

The court was hearing a plea filed by Dindigul district’s MC Pandi, who sought a direction to the authorities to remove encroachments made on the reservoir at Keelakottai village. The petitioner stated that the authorities did not consider his representation.
