Now weekly test mandatory for classes 9 to 12 in East Singhbhum. Ranchi News – Times of India

Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum district administration has launched a project to improve the learning skills of students of classes 9 to 12 of government-run secondary and higher secondary schools. As part of Project – Parakh: Education and Sports – the schools will conduct weekly assessments Examination Every Saturday the exam will be conducted in all the identified schools and results will be declared on Monday. Students will have to get the parent’s signature on the mark sheet.
The Deputy Development Commissioner said, the result of the results will help in identifying the subjects in which a particular student needs to work and will be focused accordingly. Manish Kumar,
Kumar has asked District Education Officer Nirmala Barelia to form a team of 50 teachers who will draft the questionnaire for the weekly exam.
The school principals have been asked to send the names of the teachers for the purpose. The official further said that school principals have been asked to promote Play in school. Apart from this, a plantation campaign will also be launched to make the school premises green.
Sports help in the physical and mental development of a child and hence the school administration needs to focus on this area, Kumar said.
The Deputy Development Commissioner also urged the teachers of the school to work on inculcating positivity among the children. Kumar said, students have a creative mind which is open to new ideas and challenges in life. On Wednesday evening, Kumar chaired a meeting of education officers and school principals after which the project was launched.
