National Security Guard (NSG) commandos sealed the area and conducted a search operation.
National Security Guard (NSG) commandos arrived on Sunday to investigate the blast in Shimla city of Himachal Pradesh. The commandos along with the dog squad searched every corner. NSG is being suspected of terrorist attack or getting bomb. Commandos are investigating keeping in mind the security aspects.
No evidence of cylinder burst was found.
Please tell that the whole Shimla city was shaken by the blast. One person died, who has been identified as Avneesh Sood. 13 were injured. In the initial investigation, it was said to be a blast due to cylinder blast, but the police could not find any evidence of cylinder blast. Teams of forensic experts are also investigating.
The explosion was so strong that apart from the employees working inside the restaurant, people walking from the market outside also came under its grip.
CCTV surfaced, SIT is investigating
The explosion was so dangerous that it was heard in the surrounding area of 500 meters. 10 to 12 shops were also damaged. CCTV footage of this accident was also revealed, in which people were seen saving lives. SP Shimla Sanjeev Gandhi has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter.
Avneesh had come to visit the Shiva temple
At the same time, the deceased Avneesh, who lost his life in the blast, had come to the Shiva temple with his wife to pay obeisance. During the blast, his wife was bowing down in the temple and Avneesh, who was walking outside, fell victim to the accident.
There was chaos in the area after the blast.

BJP’s media in-charge Karan Nanda had demanded an inquiry into the blast. Along with this, he also raised the demand for compensation to the shops which have suffered damage.
