Merry Christmas marks the first collaboration of Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif as lead actors. The film was announced in 2021 and is expected to release in December this year. It was supposed to release on Christmas last year but got delayed. Sharing the first poster of the film, Katrina wrote, “We wanted to release this Christmas film, but there’s a twist. See you soon in theatres.”
Meanwhile, Vijay will next be seen in Raj and DK’s upcoming crime thriller Farzi. This will mark the digital debut of both shahid kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. The series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra and Bhuvan Arora in pivotal roles.
