‘Opposition blinded by development works in Jharsuguda’ | Bhubaneswar News – Times of India

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Jharsuguda bypoll to be held on May 10, Ritesh Sharma… bjd Candidate Dipali Das on his dead father Naba Kishore Dasdevelopment activities and more.
What issues are you highlighting during the campaign?
I think all western Odisha knows that my father Late Naba Kishore Das has done a lot of work in Jharsuguda. Some development works are incomplete. For example cancer care hospital, chowkipara bridge and water supply to every household apart from development of healthcare sector. These are the main issues. Being a woman I want women empowerment in Jharsuguda and I want to focus on women development in every field. I will work for the rest of my life to fulfill my father’s dream.
Opposition parties are saying that hardly anything has been done for Jharsuguda..,
I would like to say that the immense progress that has been made in Jharsuguda is not visible to the opposition. a few days ago, the BJP Claimed that the central government has built the airport. I would like to tell them that the Chief Minister’s government Naveen Patnaik Gave free land for airport. There is all this development work going on, but I think they are too blind to see it. Secondly, our CM always believes in working. His works speak for themselves.
Will you have a very short tenure in the assembly? How do you plan to use the time?
I know the time will be short, but I have the blessings of my father and people. The most important thing is that I have the blessings of Naveen Patnaik ji. In this short time, I want to focus on the healthcare system, women empowerment and education system in rural areas.
Do you believe that the truth about your father’s death will come out and justice will be done?
All the media persons are asking me the same question. I would like to say that this is my personal life and I do not want to comment on anything related to my father’s death. So, let’s keep it private.
The BJD’s manifesto in 2019 promised 75% jobs for local youth in industries. Your opinion on this…
Our CM is always with the people, for the youth and for the women. Whatever work he has done in the state is commendable. He has talked about improving the employment system in Odisha, I am sure he will definitely keep his word.
Where do you see yourself as a politician five years from now?
I want to see myself where my father was. It was my father’s dream that I enter politics. He wanted to see me in politics where I can serve the people in the best possible way. I want to fulfill my father’s dream and work for the people.
