New Delhi: While BJP Happy to unveil leaders National symbol cast on the roof of the new Parliament building by the prime minister Narendra Modi On Monday, the opposition criticized the event for several reasons.
The national emblem is made of cast bronze with a total weight of 9500 kg and a height of 6.5 m. It is cast on top of the central foyer of the new Parliament building.

was with modi Lok Sabha speaker About BirlaDeputy Chairman Rajya Sabha Harivansh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Union Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. They offered prayers, which are believed to be in accordance with Hindu rituals.
The PM also interacted with the workers who have been involved in the construction of Parliament House.

The move was welcomed by a large number of BJP leaders and ministers in the Modi cabinet.

However, some opposition leaders drew criticism for the unveiling of the national emblem, mainly on three counts.
CPM says unconstitutional
The opposition objected to the unveiling of the Prime Minister’s artists. CPM leader Sitaram Yechury He said the unveiling of the national emblem on top of the new Parliament House by the Prime Minister was a clear violation of the Constitution.
In a series of tweets, Yechury said, “The Constitution clearly separates the 3 wings of our democracy – the executive (government), the legislature (parliament and state legislatures) and the judiciary.”
He said that the President summons the Parliament. The executive is headed by the PM. The independent role of the legislature is to enforce laws and to hold the executive accountable and accountable. “This constitutional separation of powers between the three wings is being distorted by the head of the executive,” he said.

AIMIM chief and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi also objected to the unveiling of the national emblem by PM Modi.
Owaisi in a tweet said, “The Constitution separates the powers of Parliament, Government and Judiciary. As the head of the government, the Prime Minister should not have unveiled the national emblem atop the new Parliament House. Speaker of the Lok Sabha (LS) ) represents the LS which is not subordinate to the government. The PM has violated all constitutional norms.”

On worshiping PM Modi according to Hindu rituals
The CPI(M) said the installation of the national emblem should not be linked with religious ceremonies. It is a symbol of everyone, not just those who have religious beliefs. “Keep religion separate from national work,” the Left said.

Yechury said, “The Prime Minister offered prayers on the occasion. Our constitution provides the right and protection to all Indians to practice and practice their religion. This is an inalienable right. Also, the constitution clearly states that the state does not profess or practice any religion/religion.”

The CPM’s Politburo called on the PM and the central government to “honestly implement the solemn oath taken while taking the oath to protect and uphold the Constitution of India”.
No opposition party invited
Some leaders objected to the opposition not being invited to the programme.
TMC’s Rajya Sabha MP Shantanu Sen said, “When @narendramodi was unveiling the national emblem today, how many opposition leaders met? Prateek’s weight is 9500 kg, which is less than the weight of @BJP4India government’s arrogance. Isn’t this new parliament also for the opposition? Absolute murder of federalism. ,

Jawahar Sarkar, another TMC Rajya Sabha MP and former CEO of Prasar Bharati, said, “The four lions of this regime are seen as the PM raising the 4 lions of the national emblem on top of the new Parliament building. But the lawmakers who occupied this building were never consulted. Modi will now shock us with a mediocre architecture designed by his old architect at an exorbitant price. ,

Former Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit said that he hoped that whenever PM does any work related to Parliament, he will invite everyone as Parliament is not of any one party, one government or one PM. “Parliament building belongs to the whole country. It would be nice if all the political parties participate in some function related to Parliament.
BJP’s denial
However, in the absence of opposition leaders, the BJP retaliated.
Rajya Sabha MP and party spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said only those holding statutory posts were invited to the event. He said that there were some people who were not satisfied till they got a chance to disturb some work.
Talking to media persons, Trivedi said, “The BJP government under the leadership of PM Modi is paving the way for development. But there are some people in this country who feel uncomfortable till they get a chance to disturb the work. Congress is the party with the same disturbing attitude.”
The Congress party, which is the flag bearer of “corruption, dynastic politics and appeasement” and is also a leader of “so-called secular parties”, tries to make baseless allegations in one way or the other, he added.
Another BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli said that it is a matter of great pride for India that all this is happening in the 75th year of India’s independence. “The opposition party is constantly criticizing or trying to find a non-existent flaw with such a project Center View and the new Parliament House. He also criticized the museum which PM Modi had dedicated to all the Prime Ministers from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru till now, but it is absolutely bipartisan. So, in the end, if today they say why they weren’t invited, can they formally say that they support the project and want to see India move in the right direction?” They said.
