Seema told TOI that she has converted to Hinduism and given up her surname to adopt Sachin’s surname Haider. She said, “Seema is a common name among Hindus and Muslims and hence Sachin said I don’t need to change my first name. I will call myself Seema or Seema Sachin. We changed our children’s names to Raj, Priyanka, Pari and Munni has been kept.”

On Saturday, Sachin said he was happy to be home with Seema. He said, “My family members have accepted Seema along with her children. I request UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to grant Indian citizenship to Seema.
