Supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan attacked the residence of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Wednesday. Widespread violence broke out across Pakistan following the arrest of the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray said on Thursday, “If I had not resigned, I would have been the Chief Minister.” Following the Supreme Court proceedings on the Maharashtra political crisis, Uddhav further said, “Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should resign like I did.”
