A portion of the foot overbridge at Ballarshah railway station in Maharashtra collapsed. Several passengers were going from platform number one to platform number four to board the Kazipet-Pune Express when the accident occurred. Suddenly, a portion of the slab in the middle of the bridge collapsed, causing the bridge to fall directly onto the railway track from a height of 60 feet.

During this, the passengers present at the station picked up the injured from the track. 13 people were injured in the accident, two women were admitted in ICU. A 48-year-old woman died late night. She was a teacher by profession. Ballarshah railway station in Chandrapur, Maharashtra is 150 km away from Nagpur. In the year 2014, this station got the title of number-1 railway station of the country.

On the other hand, angry with the appointment of new Army Chief General Asim Munir in Pakistan, two senior generals have decided to quit.
