Wall collapses due to rain in Gurdaspur. Four injured people have been admitted to the hospital.
A person who came to check the water level in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur got washed away. The person has been identified as Mahinderpal Singh, a resident of Alampur. Amid speculations about release of water from Bhakra dam, CM Bhagwant Mann has decided to visit the dam. After noon CM Bhagwant Mann will reach to visit Bhakra Dam.
A wall of a house collapsed in Pakhoke Tahli Sahib village of Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. 4 members of the family were injured in the accident. 2 injured have been admitted to Kalanaur hospital, while 2 seriously injured have been admitted to Gurdaspur civil hospital.
At the same time, the Ghaggar river is also causing havoc. After the river was in spate, water created havoc in the villages of Patiala on Saturday midnight. Water flooded the fields and crops. Bhagpur in Patiala and nearby villages are waterlogged. The situation remained under control as people were alerted in advance by the district administration.

Boat stuck in water in Nawanshahr

The boatman brought the boat to the shore with great difficulty and the people present there saved the life of the boat and the people sitting in it by throwing the rope.

On the other hand, the Dhussi dam built on Sutlej in village Hariwal of Anandpur Sahib broke down. After which the fields of the village have been filled with water. According to the information received, the water first rose in Dadwa village at night. After that Ghaggar captured Bhagpur as well.
SDM Parleen Kaur Brar took charge of the situation during the night itself. Tehsildar and other staff along with him reached the village and kept an eye on the situation. The special thing is that the people working under MNREGA were also engaged in controlling the situation along with the district administration.
The Harike Head, built at the confluence of Sutlej-Beas river in Ferozepur, has been completely filled with water.
Water level increased in Ferozepur as well
The water level has started rising in Ferozepur as well. At 8 am, 81338 cusecs of water was released from Harike head towards Hussainiwala head, while 76580 cusecs of water is being released from Hussainiwala head to Pakistan.

On the other hand, many villages of Sardulgarh are still under water. The water has receded a bit in Sadhugarh, but still this village is surrounded by water from all sides. The people here now need support and help, for which they are appealing to the district administration.
After rains in more than half of the state on the previous day, the weather is expected to remain clear today. Today, neither in Punjab nor in Haryana, the Meteorological Department has given any alert for rain, due to which the water level of the rivers, which was increased in the past, is expected to decrease slightly.
Sri Kartarpur Sahib Yatra postponed till Monday
At the same time, despite repeated requests from the Pakistan government, the Indian side refused to start the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Yatra on Saturday. When DC Gurdaspur Himanshu Agarwal visited Sri Kartarpur Sahib on Saturday, there was damage to roads and infrastructure due to water, due to which the visit was postponed to Monday.
