Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ‘Entrepreneur India’ program at Vigyan Bhawan today. Through this program, PM Modi will launch many new schemes for MSMEs. PM to launch new features of schemes ‘Enhancing and Accelerating MSME’s Performance’ (RAMP) and ‘First Time Export Capacity Building for MSMEs’ (CBFTE) and ‘Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program’ (PMEGP) schemes .

PMEGP will give digital assistance to the beneficiaries
PM Modi will also transfer assistance digitally to the beneficiaries of PMEGP for 2022-23 along with the launch of the schemes. The event will also see the announcement of the MSME Idea Hackathon 2022 results, National MSME Awards and Digital Equity Certificates to 75 MSMEs in the Self-Reliant India (SRI) Fund.

6,000 crore scheme will also start
The Prime Minister will launch the scheme of ‘Enhancing and Accelerating the Performance of MSMEs’ (RAMP) of about 6,000 crores. With the help of this, the working capacity and coverage of MSMEs in the states will be taken forward as the impact of MSME schemes increases. Through this, a self-reliant India will be made by promoting new business and entrepreneurship to enhance quality, improve processes, increase market access, technology devices and make Industry 4.0 competitive and self-reliant for MSMEs.

Many already running schemes for MSME
The government has already started several initiatives like MUDRA scheme for MSME sector, Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme and Scheme of Fund for Promotion of Traditional Industries (SFURTI).

Now many facilities will be available in PMEGP
MSMEs will benefit greatly from the launch of the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP). For this, the maximum project cost will be increased by Rs 50 lakh (from Rs 25 lakh) for the manufacturing sector and Rs 20 lakh (from Rs 10 lakh) in the service sector. At the same time, under the new scheme, applications of districts and transgenders will also be included in it. Also, applications and entrepreneurs will be helped through appointments of banking, technology and marketing experts.
