Prime Minister Narendra Modi He will chair a meeting of the Union Council of Ministers on Monday amid intense discussion over the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle following a series of meetings by top leaders of the ruling BJP.
Monday’s meeting is expected to be held at the newly built convention center at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
PM Modi held a meeting with Shah and Nadda on June 28, which was attended by Amit Shah and JP Nadda, among others, to take stock of organizational and political matters.
Any reshuffle in the cabinet will have an impact on the upcoming assembly elections as well.
The BJP is preparing vigorously for the elections in several states to be held this year. Elections are due in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Mizoram later this year.
