Many big tech companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Twitter have laid off more than one lakh employees in the last three months, but Apple has not fired anyone yet. Apart from this, there is currently no report regarding the layoffs in Apple. Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that layoffs are a last resort and that he will find other ways to manage costs instead of letting go of employees. He didn’t rule out the possibility of layoffs altogether. Let’s try to understand that when layoffs are happening on a large scale in all tech companies, then why not in a big company like Apple?
