Punjab Police with the shooter of Bambiha gang.
The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab Police has started action against the Bambiha gang. Recently, AGTF had identified 10 accused in the murder case of Jarnail Singh in Sathiala, Amritsar. In this case, the police arrested Bambiha gang shooter Gurveer Singh alias Guri along with weapons.

After the success of AGTF, DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav informed that police have recovered a pistol .32 caliber and 7 live cartridges from the accused. Accused Guri was involved in the murder of deceased Jarnail Singh, who was killed by four armed men on May 24.

DGP Yadav said that according to preliminary investigation, accused Gurveer had conspired with Manpreet Singh alias Munn (presently in Portugal) and Balwinder Singh alias Doni to eliminate Jarnail. Gurveer Guri also met the shooters involved in the massacre and provided them with weapons. Manpreet Munn is none other than the brother of absconding gangster Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Ghanshampuria.

The DGP said that the accused Gurveer Guri has given the names of 7 gangsters involved in the murder of Jarnail Singh. In which Gagandeep Singh alias Daddi, Jobanjit Singh alias Billa, Joban, Gurmej Singh, Manjeet Mahal and two unknown are included.
Guri is also guilty of firing at the police block
AGTF AIG Sandeep Goyal said Gurveer Guri was earlier also wanted in the case of running away after firing at police during naka in Sohna police station area of SAS Nagar. At present, a case has been registered against Guri at Punjab State Crime Police Station SAS Nagar under Section 473, IPC 34 and Arms Act Section 25.
Accused Gurveer has been appointed PO by the court.
According to police records Gurveer Guri is a notorious criminal. Several cases have been registered against Guri under sections of murder, snatching, NDPS Act and Arms Act. In many cases going on against him in the court, that PO has also been signed.
