Police arrested 5, detained minor for murder of elderly couple. Jaipur News – Times of India

Jaipur: Police on Thursday arrested five people and detained a minor for allegedly killing an elderly couple in Achrol, Jaipur (Rural) on Tuesday for looting jewelery and cash from their house.
SP Jaipur (Rural) Rajeev Pachar identified the arrested as ‘Sipahi’, 20, Azad Bunkar, 19, Manish, 20, Narendra, 20, Rohit, 20, who accompanied the detained minor to 85-year-old Kajod. Mal was allegedly robbed and murdered. and Manbhari, 80, at her home.
The accused was stalking the victims for the last 15 days. We have arrested all those involved in the crime.
Additional SP Dharmendra Yadav told that the victim Kajod used to do sewage cleaning and lend money to people. “The accused knew that the couple had accumulated a lot of cash and jewellery. They decided to target him,” Yadav said.
According to Yadav, the accused did a complete recce of the victim’s house for 15 days. “The accused met at a park to finalize their plan. They entered the victim’s house through the back door, which was surrounded by forest,” he said. The accused tied up Kajod Mal and then strangulated him and his wife. “They decamped with Rs 31,000 in cash and jewelery from the house,” Yadav said.
Jaipur (Rural) Police formed a special team to track down the culprits. “We took the help of policemen posted at Chandwaji police station in the past. We have also got some important clues from ground intelligence.
