In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Nitish Kumar is engaged in uniting the opposition so that the battle with the BJP can be fought strongly. For this, Bihar CM has also met big leaders in different states. Meanwhile, a JDU source said on Tuesday that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday. Earlier on Monday, Nitish Kumar met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

A JDU source said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence in Ranchi on Wednesday. The meeting is scheduled for 4.45 pm. Ruling JMM spokesperson Vinod Kumar Pandey confirmed the development and said Kumar and Soren are likely to discuss various issues, including political issues.

He said that both the leaders can also talk to the media after the meeting. Vinod Kumar met Patnaik at his residence in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday and discussed with him for about an hour but later neither of them talked about it.

JDU supremo and Chief Minister of Bihar is Nitish Kumar. In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, efforts are being made to unite the anti-BJP leaders to form an opposition front. So far he has met leaders of various parties including West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Nitish Kumar believes that a united opposition can defeat the BJP in next year’s Lok Sabha elections. According to sources, CM Nitish Kumar is likely to visit Mumbai on Thursday and is likely to meet Maharashtra veterans Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray.
