Trichy: TANGEDCO plans to carry out monthly maintenance work on May 9 at three major substations that supply power to Trichy city, including Kambarasampettai, EB Road and Main Guard Gate.
The city and suburban areas were dependent on three substations including Karur Bypass Road, Old Karur Road, VN Nagar, Posari Street, Chhatiram Bus Stand, St. Joseph’s College, Chintamani, Andal Street, Nandi Koil Street, Vanpattarai, Singerthope, Fort Station Road. Salai Road, Voraiyur Housing Unit, Nawab Thottam, Takkar Road, Linga Nagar, Santosh Garden, Malliyampathu, Mutharasanallur, Eloor, Jeyapuram, Devathanam, Sanjeevi Nagar, SRC Road, Sarkarpalayam, Panayakurichi, Vengur, EB Road, Gandhi Market, Maduram School, Anna Statue, Kurinji College, Krishnapuram, Big Bazaar Street, Chinnakadai Street, Rockfort, Butterworth Road, Babu Road, Town Station, Vishwas Nagar and Lakshmipuram will remain without electricity between 9.45 am and 4 pm on Tuesday.
