Adipurush Release Day | It is reported that the Andhra Pradesh government has rejected the requests made by the authorities to organize a benefit show for the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer.

Telugu actor Prabhas’ much awaited film Adipurush released globally today. This mythological drama offers a new perspective on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki in the film. Sunny Singh brings to life the character of Laxman and Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Ravana.

Adipurush grabbed all the headlines when recently, the Andhra Pradesh government approved an increase in the ticket price for the film. As per the latest development, theaters in the state may increase the prices by Rs 50 in addition to the rates fixed by the government. This price hike will be effective for 10 days from the release date of the film i.e. June 16. However, it is reported that the Andhra Pradesh government has rejected the requests made by the authorities to organize a benefit show for Adipurush.

Earlier, the makers requested one seat to be kept vacant at every screening of the film across the world as a sign of reverence for Lord Hanuman. In addition, it has been announced that over 10,000 tickets will be provided free of cost to all government schools, orphanages and old age homes across Telangana.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the film released in multiple languages ​​including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Meanwhile, the Censor Board has given U certificate to the film.

Om Raut, with two films under his belt, is the director of Adipurush. The film also stars Devdutt Nag, Angad Bedi, Vatsal Seth, Shivangi Sharma and Krishna Kotian in key roles. The music is composed by Ankit Balhara, Sanchit Balhara, Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale and the film’s cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani.

Now that the film has released, reports suggest that it offers a stunning cinematic experience that goes beyond mere visual experiences and incorporates a modern perspective. It presents a people-oriented and contemporary adaptation of Ramayana.
