After holidaying in India, Priyanka Chopra has resumed working on her next Hollywood project. She is also producing Barry Avrich’s upcoming documentary Born Hungry.
Priyanka Chopra was in India for a short vacation with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie. PeeCee clearly had an eventful time, as she was seen quite busy, marking her attendance at various events including a Holi party, her brother’s engagement and a reunion with her friends. Now that the family of three is back in the US, Priyanka has already resumed her work on her upcoming Hollywood film, Heads Of State.
Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of the film’s script with her name written on it. Besides, the page also included the movie’s title and Harrison Query’s name, thus leaving no room for doubt. “And we’re back,” she mentioned on her Instagram Stories.
Notably, this comes just a day after Priyanka Chopra made a big announcement about her new project. She is all set to collaborate with popular filmmaker Barry Avrich and will produce a documentary titled Born Hungry. “Aligning with stories and filmmakers that have the ability to move the audience by having a unique point of view is what we always look for at @purplepebblepictures. @barryavrich22’s new feature documentary, Born Hungry is exactly that. I was so moved by Sash’s incredible story of resilience and determination, and also that it is an amazing rendition of an extremely sensitive story, it was a no-brainer for us to collaborate. We cannot wait to share this story with you,” she wrote on Instagram.
The documentary will narrate the journey of a young Indian individual who leaves home, finds refuge with a Canadian family and ultimately rises to fame as a successful celebrity chef in Toronto. This is not the first time that Priyanka has tried her hand as a producer. She had earlier produced films like The White Tiger and To Kill A Tiger under her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures.

The Sky Is Pink actress attended her brother Siddharth Chopra’s roka ceremony during her visit to India. It was a complete family affair, pictures of which are now going viral. Besides that, she was also spotted at Mannara Chopra’s birthday celebrations with her husband, Nick Jonas.
Pictures of Priyanka, Nick and Malti Marie from a grand Holi party also went viral on the internet. On top of it, the family also didn’t miss the chance to visit the newly inaugurated Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Apart from her family events, Priyanka also attended a Bulgari event in Mumbai. For the unversed, the actress is the brand’s global ambassador.
