Global icon Priyanka Chopra, who dons many hats, as an actor, singer and entrepreneur, experienced her first taste of fame after she became Miss World 2000. Priyanka posted two photos of herself on Saturday: one from a beauty pageant and the other from the present times.

In that moment I was desperately trying to keep it together. With the weight of the heavy sari and the newly acquired crown flimsily pinned into my hair with 2 bobby pins, my confidence was slowly slipping as well. But I held it together, just like my sari, with a few safety pins. (smiling emoji)”

In the first picture, Priyanka can be seen wearing a white saree and her Femina Miss India 2000 sash. In the second picture from the current times, the diva can be seen posing for a mirror selfie. She looked super-stylish as she wore a grey denim jacket, which she paired with a white crop top and matching pants. Netizens were all praises for the actress. Another netizen complimented her and wrote, “Such an inspiration”.
