Prostitution Racket Busted in Rajkot: Junagadh Police Arrest 6, Including Woman | Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: The Junagadh police arrested six persons including a woman who was running a prostitution racket. Acting on specific information, the police raided a house in Adinath Apartment where the woman was operating a brothel. According to the police, the accused woman was forcing women from outside the state into prostitution. Besides the woman, police arrested six others out of which five were residents of Upleta town in Rajkot district and one native of Junagadh.
One-year-old girl run over by vehicle
Rajkot: A one-year-old girl died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle when she was playing outside her house in Harsiddhi Park on Mahika Road in the city on Saturday. The girl, Nirali Mer, was declared dead by the doctors in the government hospital. Her father Sandeep filed a complaint with the Aji Dam police station and the cops have booked the driver of the vehicle for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. A hunt has been launched for the vehicle driver.
