“We have also arrested Vishnu Kadam (26), the bar and restaurant manager, for neglecting the safety of the customer and causing death,” Kalaskar said.
Khaire’s father Raghunath Khaire is a retired IPS officer and has served as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Pune city. He retired from the State Police Service with the rank of Special Inspector General.
“Kamble and Reethe work as ward boys in a private hospital in Narhe, Adate is a delivery agent and Sooryavanshi is an autorickshaw driver,” he said.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when local residents found Khaire in an unconscious state in the premises of the parking area of ​​the bar and restaurant.
“We found him unconscious and took him to the hospital. Later, the postmortem report revealed that he was beaten to death and the internal organs were damaged due to perforation,” he said.
“The CCTV footage of the bar and restaurant shows that the arrested people had gone to the restaurant and bar. After drinking, they came out and were chatting with each other when Khaire, who had gone to bars and restaurants, came out. Khaire found a motorcycle parked behind his motorcycle and failed to pull it out. He then reached out to the group of four people and requested them to take his motorcycle so that he can take out his motorcycle.”
