Pune: A 26-year-old woman allegedly misbehaved with a woman constable and bitten her grumbled Mohd in the police station late on Sunday night on charges of quarreling and creating disturbance in a public place.
senior inspector Shivaji Gaware Ravet police told TOI that the woman became aggressive on reaching the police station. “He started abusing the police before biting the woman constable who was trying to pacify him,” he added.
Police registered a case against the woman under sections 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 333 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt to any person being public servant in discharge of his duty) Have done Indian Penal Code,
control room, Gaware Said, got a call from one Kiwale resident, who informed the police that a woman and her husband were creating nuisance in the area. “We immediately sent a team to the spot,” he added.
Gaware said the police brought the woman to the police station because she was aggressive.
