R. Madhavan is well-known for her stint in the 2001 film ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, which is hailed as one of the most-loved romantic Bollywood films to date.
In a recent interview with Travel+Leisure India, Madhavan was asked to share his special memory from the time he was shooting ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’. The actor quipped that it was almost two and a half decades ago.
Madhavan mentioned that one unforgettable memory from the film was when he and his wife traveled first class for the very first time in their lives.They were holding each other’s hands, looking into each other’s eyes, and expressing their joy about traveling first class.
Interestingly, the film also marked Dia Mirza and R. Madhavan’s Bollywood debut, and the duo won hearts with their chemistry in lead roles. While RHTDM is often tagged as a classic, on several occasions, the film was called out over its stereotypes.
