Sources said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit the US on May 31. He will stay there for a week. Rahul Gandhi visited Cambridge University in March where he remarked that Indian democracy is under attack and that many politicians, including himself, are under surveillance.
The Congress leader, who plans to be in the US for a week, will address a gathering at Madison Square on June 4, which will be attended by at least 6000 people from the Indian diaspora.
As per his itinerary, he will also visit California where he will attend a university event. He will also go to Washington.
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi delivered a lecture on the “art of listening” at a prestigious Cambridge University and called for a new mindset to promote a democratic environment globally as opposed to coercion.
