The Meteorological Department has said that there is a forecast of rain in 10 states including Odisha, while there will be a huge increase in temperature in 17 states. Heat wave will start in most areas of the country from this week.

Temperature will cross 45 degrees in UP and Central India
The Meteorological Department estimates that the mercury is going to cross 45 degree Celsius in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Central India. The mercury will go above 40 degrees in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. Meanwhile, the mercury crossed 43 degree Celsius in Rajasthan’s Barmer on Tuesday. In Madhya Pradesh, mercury was recorded above 40 degree Celsius in six districts on Monday.
