Rajasthan News: A ‘red diary’, a sacked minister and turmoil in the Gehlot cabinet!

Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot Rajasthan sacked its cabinet minister after criticizing the state government regarding women’s safety. The debate arose after India was furious over a viral video from violence-hit Manipur that showed two Kuki Zo women being paraded naked by a mob of Meitei men.

Rajasthan Congress MLA Rajendra GudhaShe was sacked by the CM Gehlot government just hours after she highlighted the issues of women’s safety in Rajasthan. On Monday, the Rajasthan Assembly was adjourned after sacked minister Rajendra Gudha created an unruly situation in the House and waved a red diary, which he claims contains details of irregular financial transactions.

Gudha also said that there is no difference between “rapists” and Congress MLAs. He said that like gangster Lawrence Bishnoi conducts his criminal activities from jail, Congress MLAs do so from inside the House.

When asked about the “secret”, he claimed, “The diary is written by Dharmendra Rathore. It names Ashok Gehlot and his son. It has details of financial transactions, money given to MLAs. The money was 2-5 crores, not lakhs.”

The BJP in Rajasthan seems to have seized the opportunity to attack the ruling Congress government led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, especially ahead of the crucial Rajasthan assembly elections, which are due later this year or early next year.
