Rajkumar Rao was seen in an intense discussion with Patralekha regarding the film. Meanwhile, one also spotted Mahesh Bhatt at the screening. Huma Qureshi, he is mirza Walked too and looked as beautiful as ever. veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah Wife Ratna Pathak accompanied Shah and the talented couple also posed for the paparazzi.
All the celebs seem impressed by the film. Recently Mehta was criticized for making this film. One user wrote on Twitter, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself. You are a shameless person. You are exploiting a terrible tragedy for profit without the permission of the victim’s family. Why don’t you make a film about the events of your country?’ ,
Hansal gave him a befitting reply and linked an article. The said article talked at length about artistic freedom, censorship and the grief allowed in cancel culture. It also noted that the attack was related to several larger national and global trends.
The film also courted controversy and the mothers of two of the victims opposed its release on the grounds of invasion of privacy. The court passed an order that showing the film to the family could end their case as the filmmakers would not want their film to be shelved.
