Reports indicate that Charan will serve as the chief guest at the university’s upcoming graduation ceremony, scheduled to take place at Wales University today on April 13. To attend the same, Ram Charan flew down to Chennai and was papped in the process.
In a bunch of pictures that were shared by the popular paparazzo handle Instant Bollywood on Saturday, Ram Charan can be seen exiting the airport premises. He wore a light blue shirt, black trousers, black cap and black sunglasses. The actor was welcomed with a flower bouquet before entering his car and leaving the scene. The photos went viral on social media in no time.
At the event, Ram Charan will officially receive the honorary doctorate. This accolade follows his international success for his performance in ‘RRR,’ further cementing his reputation as a ‘Global Star.’
This distinguished honor places Charan among notable personalities such as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and renowned director Shankar, who have also been honored by the university in the past. This year’s honorees alongside Charan include Dr. P Veeramuthuvel, Project Coordinator at Chandrayaan, ISRO, among other distinguished individuals.
