Animal star Siddhant Karnick confessed he has a crush on Triptii Dimri and wants to take her out on a cup of coffee.
Siddhant Karnick, who played Ranbir Kapoor’s brother-in-law in Animal, admitted to having a crush on Triptii Dimri. The actress became the talk of the town after she starred in Animal. She played Zoya in the film and was dubbed as ‘Bhabhi 2’ courtesy of scenes in the film. In a recent chat, Siddhant opened up about the actress and admitted he would like to take her out on a cup of coffee some day. It is worth noting that Triptii is rumoured to be dating Sam Merchant.
Speaking with Filmygyan, Siddhant Karnick was asked if he had a crush on anyone and he said, “I would love to date Triptii Dimri.” He clarified that he did not want to kick up a controversy with his statement and added that he wanted to take her out for coffee. He added that he would also happily take on the bill.
For the unversed, Siddhant was married to Megha Gupta. They got married in 2016 but hit a rough patch in 2019. In 2020, it was revealed that they have parted ways and are now divorced.
Meanwhile, Siddhant had reacted to Ranbir and Triptii’s viral ‘lick my shoe’ scene from the film a few months ago. The actor confessed it was an unsettling scene but praised Sandeep Vanga Reddy for being courageous to feature the scene.
“It was unsettling, but I also felt, ‘Wow what a choice for a character and a very courageous choice to make for the director.’ At the end of the day, Sandeep sir is getting the flak. That’s when he turned an anti-hero to me from a hero. That’s what portrayed the man’s psycho-ness. That he is good but he also has these deep dark traits. That was a very fine line for Vijay to turn villain, it is not easy to tread on. I felt damn unsettled with that scene. But now when I think about, it was also so good, it makes you react,” he told Bollywood Hungama.
