Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram look in ‘Ramayana’ will be bereft of CGI and VFX: Report | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actor Ranbir Kapoor who is gearing up for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial, ‘Ramayana‘, is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that he meets the enormous expectations.
As per latest report by India Today, the ‘Animal‘ star Ranbir Kapoor is trying his best to make his portrayal of Lord Rama. He infact told the director Nitesh Tiwari that he wants no CGI or VFX work on his face and body.
The report further stated that Ranbir doesn’t want to look muscular. Whatever frame he had gained for Animal, he has had to lose it for Ramayana. The more challenging areas for him to lose weight has been his face and torso which he had gained during ‘Animal’.
Recently, Ranbir’s fitness coach on Monday offered a glimpse into his intense training routine as he prepares to commence filming for ‘Ramayana’.
In the video, Ranbir can be engaging in a variety of exercises under the guidance of his trainer. From running alongside his coach to lifting weights and performing various workout routines, Ranbir’s dedication shines through.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that Sai Pallavi will play the role as Goddess Sita, with talks suggesting Sunny Deol may be considered for the role of Lord Hanuman.
