Recover accidentally deleted photos using these simple steps – Times of India

Capturing precious moments with the phone’s camera is a common practice. However, it is not uncommon to accidentally delete photos or videos from the app Gallery, and losing important photos can be a frustrating experience. The good news is that there are methods that you can use to recover deleted photos and videos. In fact, even if you’ve permanently deleted photos, they can still be recovered. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to recover accidentally deleted photos on Android device.
Before proceeding with the steps that you should take, the first thing that you should do is to stop using the device immediately as soon as you realize that you have deleted the wrong photo or video. This is important because when you use your device, new data may overwrite the location where deleted photos were stored, making them unrecoverable.
check recycle bin
Almost every Android smartphone comes with a built-in Recycle Bin or Trash option in the Gallery app. Photos and videos deleted from the Gallery app are first stored in the Recycle Bin and then automatically deleted after a certain time interval, such as 30 days, 60 days, and so on.
To access the Recycle Bin, open the Gallery app, tap the three-dot menu button, and select Recycle Bin or Trash.
check cloud storage
If you use a cloud storage service like Google Drive, google photos, A campaign, dropbox, etc., to back up your photos and videos, it may have backed up the deleted data from the gallery. Check your account to see if the photos are still there.
restore from backup
If you have a backup of your device, you can restore your deleted photos from the backup.
To restore from a Google backup, go to Settings > System > Backup & restore > Restore. Select the backup you want to restore from, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
Use third-party photo recovery software
If all the above options have failed for you, then you can use reliable data recovery software to recover permanently deleted photos and videos. There are many alternatives available on the Google Play Store, such as DiskDigger, EaseUS, mobiserverRicueva, etc.
All you have to do is download and install the app on your smartphone or computer. Run scan and recover photos.
Note: Use third-party software at your own risk.
