Mysuru: Eligible unemployed youths can register for Yuva Nidhi scheme and avail the benefits, said additional deputy commissioner R Lokanath on Tuesday.
Speaking after releasing the Yuva Nidhi poster at the DC’s office, he said that graduates and diploma holders applying under the scheme must have completed their respective courses in 2023 and stayed unemployed for a minimum of six months.He said the eligible candidates can register online through the Seva Sindhu portal. There are a total of 20,500 eligible graduates in Mysuru district , Lokanath said.
Yuva Nidhi provides Rs 3,000 monthly unemployment stipend to graduates and Rs 1,500 monthly stipend to diploma holders. Applications can be submitted at Karnataka One, Bengaluru One, Grama One, Bapuji Seva Kendras or call helpline number 18005999918. Meanwhile, a similar event was also held in Mandya with ZP CEO Sheikh Tanveer Asif launching the registration for Yuva Nidhi scheme. tnn
