Rhea Chakraborty feels people are still afraid to hire her post drug case; calls herself one of the most trolled personalities on social media | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested in a drug case after the death of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020, recently revealed that people in the industry are still afraid to offer her work.
In an interview with Mid-Day, Rhea said that she feels there is still a sense of fear on that front, but she is hoping it normalises soon. The actress also added that a lot of it has calmed down, and believes that the power of trolls is gone.

Despite getting bail from the case, the actress is been heavily trolled. Talking about that, Rhea also admitted that she’s among the most trolled personalities on social media and her family’s support helped her to face it bravely.

In October, Rhea Chakraborty posted a video where she discussed her time in jail, captioning it with “Perspective shift. #rhenew.” In the video, Rhea shared, “So you are basically removed from society and put as a number in prison because you are deemed unfit for society. So there itself, this personality or these things you’ve created about yourself are completely broken.”

After she was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau

(NCB), spent 28 days in Byculla jail as an undertrial before being granted bail. Earlier this year, Rhea got judicial relief as the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) decided not to challenge her bail in the Supreme Court.
On the work front, after the case, Rhea was seen in Rumi Jaffery’s ‘Chehre‘ which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
