A major accident took place on Saturday in Cuddapah district of Andhra Pradesh due to a collision between a lorry and a bus. In which six passengers died and more than 20 were injured. A Chennai-bound Road Transport Corporation bus rammed into a lorry in Cuddapah district, a police official said. Six people died and more than 20 passengers were injured in this accident.
Police said four people traveling in the RTC bus died on the spot and two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital. The accident took place when the RTC bus coming from Tirupati collided with a lorry going towards Chennai, the police officer said. He said that more than 20 injured people have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
