Balasore: Unknown armed miscreants looted more than eight lakh rupees from a house Bank Of Baroda Branch under Basta Police limits in Barunagadiya Balasore District on Friday.
Sources said the armed miscreants came on bikes and an SUV rammed into the bank, threatened employees and customers and looted cash. Two of them wore face masks, while all were speaking in Bengali. Before robbing the cash, the miscreants locked the employees and customers inside.
A customer told that after entering the bank, the miscreants disconnected the connection of the CCTV camera.
An FIR has been lodged in Basta police station regarding the incident. Police is scanning the CCTV footage to trace the accused.
