Anupamaa has been one of the most popular TV shows since its inception. Starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, the show is making headlines for its latest storyline. In the upcoming episode, Anuj (Gaurav) refuses to come back to Anupama (Rupali) as Maya has trapped him in her trap. While Rupali is always seen crying, she is happy about this role. Talking about the same, the actress said that she took no time in accepting the offer and it has brought her immense respect and fame.
She has become the most loving daughter-in-law, wife and mother with the show and the audience connects with all. Rupali shared, “I was on maternity leave due to which I was away from work, but when ‘Anupamaa’ came my way, I decided to give it a shot and here I am.”
Starting her acting career at the age of 7 in her father, Anil Ganguly’s film ‘Saheb’ in 1885, Rupali became a household name in the television industry by playing the role of Monisha in the 2004 comedy sitcom ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’. Later, she acted in films like ‘Baa Bahu Aur Baby’, ‘Parvarrish – Kuchh Khatti Kuchh Meethi’, ‘Sanjeevani’ and many more. Now, playing Anupama has made her a popular face on TV and she is thankful to the makers for giving her this opportunity.
