Russia, China object to reference to ‘Ukraine crisis’ in G20 meeting resolution Varanasi News – Times of India

Varanasi: Russia Dissociated itself from the General Outcome Document of the G20 Development Ministers’ meeting in Varanasi due to references made to the Ukraine crisis. China also said that the outcome of the meeting should not include any reference to the Ukraine crisis.
The Common Outcome Document, consisting of 14 paragraphs, was released after the launch with a note that ‘all G20 Development Ministers agreed on paragraphs 1 to 9 and paragraphs 12 to 14’. Document as a common consequence because of the references in paras 10 and 11.
Paragraphs 10 and 11 of the document are about the Ukraine crisis. “The war in Ukraine has further adversely affected the global economy. The issue was discussed.
