Russia’s top diplomat warned on Sunday that Western countries were “playing with fire” by agreeing to provide US-made F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, calling it an “unacceptable escalation” of the conflict.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned the attempt by “Washington, London and their satellites in the European Union” to “undermine Russia”, saying in an excerpt of a Russian TV interview posted on social media, “This is without doubt K’s playing with fire.”
