Saif Ali Khan, R Madhavan, Hansal Mehta: Bollywood stars react to MM Keeravani’s Golden Globes win – Times of India

SS Rajamouli’s RRR has achieved a rare feat of getting India a Golden Globe honor and composer MM Keeravani is at the center of this feat. The rousing Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song award and has impressed everyone from India to the US.
ETimes got in touch with the best of Bollywood to record their reactions on this historic win. First Saif Ali Khan reacted and said, “Congratulations to the team! It is great that we are joining the international award ceremony.” Then there was composer-singer Adnan Sami, who earlier in the day took to social media to make an important point that MM Keeravani’s win is an achievement for the whole of India and not just Telugu cinema. Happy and proud. This is a great achievement for Telugu cinema which in turn is a great pride for Indian cinema and indeed for India! My prayers are with the entire team that they win every award in the world, especially the Oscars!

ETimes also spoke to R Madhavan whose Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is also in contention for international acclaim. Madhavan said, “It’s a great pleasure for MM Keeravani and Team RRR to make us proud. Well and truly deserved. It’s a number that can make me dance and it’s huge (laughs).
Urmila Matondkar Expressed his excitement and said, “Fantastic! Well deserved. MM Keeravani also gave such a humble and wonderful speech at the Golden Globes ceremony. Such a vast body of work and then this glory on top of it all. Way to go!!! “

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta revealed, “So proud moment. Many congratulations to Keeravani and RRR team. He is such a lesser musician, unlike many of his high profile contemporaries. Such great tunes through the years. Now for the Oscars!
