In a recent interaction with the media around his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman was reminded about Tere Naam. Salman revealed that 20 years back, Satish Kaushik discussed the idea of ​​just one line for the film and Salman then thought it was a super idea. Coincidentally, Salman Khan’s heroine from Tere Naam, Bhumika Chawlaplays actor Venkatesh’s wife in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Salman also mentioned that he had a great relationship with Kaushik even before his demise. Apparently, Kaushik completed the shooting of Salman’s film, shooting for Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan’s film. Not only this, Kaushik managed to complete the script of the third project under Salman’s supervision, a film that Kaushik was to direct. After his stint in Delhi, Kaushik was to go on a recce for a third film. But unfortunately, he passed away during his ill-fated journey to the capital.

Salman further revealed that they had discussed a plot for Tere Naam and what would have happened in the story after 20 years. He shared the plot with Satish Kaushik and the ‘Mr India’ star promised Salman that he would start working on the script soon. Holding back his emotions, Salman said that he would consider planning a Tere Naam sequel sometime in the future.
