Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan collects 23000 tickets in advance bookings, number less than expected – Times of India

Salman Khan Is returning to the big screen after a gap of 4 years and a lot has changed in this time in terms of content consumed by the audience. Getting people into theaters has become more difficult than ever. But one thing that has not changed is the number of Salman Khan fans. He still has a strong hold over the fans and his films are still treated like an annual festival.

Salman’s latest film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has collected 23000 tickets across three national multiples till 3:30 pm on Wednesday. One can say that this is an underwhelming number, which simply means that the Salman starrer will depend on the crowd turning up to get a bumper opening.
According to a report in an entertainment portal, the advance bookings of Bhaijaan are at par when compared to recent successes like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and RRR. They are at par with films like Tu Jhootha Main Makkar, Laal Singh Chaddha, Vikram Vedha and Bhola, Shamshera, Bhediya and Samrat Prithviraj Se Badh Bhi. All this simply means that the film is expected to get an average opening and the box office success will largely depend on the word of mouth publicity. Fans will have to brace for the further progress of Kiski Bhai Kiski Jaan in the coming days. The report also suggests that Single Screen and Mass Pockets has registered very good advance booking numbers which is second only to Pathan.

Another factor that may see a rise in ticket sales is the celebration of Eid. It is expected to fall on Saturday or Sunday, depending on the sighting of the moon.
