Samsung Galaxy A24 leaked in Geekbench listing: All the details – Times of India

Samsung It is expected to announce two new smartphones under its A-series lineup in India and other regions soon. Many leaks and rumors have come to the fore regarding the upcoming A series smartphones. Adding to that, some details about Galaxy A24 smartphone has surfaced online. The handset has been spotted on the Geekbench site, revealing its benchmark scores along with several other details about it.
According to the Geekbench listing, the model number of the Galaxy A24 is SM-A245F. The handset scored 531 points in the single-core test and 1943 points in the multi-core test.
The listing doesn’t reveal exact details about the chipset powering the Galaxy SM-A245F, but the handset is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
As per the Geekbench listing, the handset is powered by an 8-core processor with 2 cores clocked at 2.20GHz and 6 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. Apart from this, the variant that has appeared in the listing has 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 operating system. We believe it will run OneUI 5 out of the box.
This is not the first time that the Galaxy A24 has surfaced online. Talking about other features, the smartphone is speculated to pack a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13MP selfie camera at the front.
Talking about the launch, this smartphone is expected to be launched in India soon. However, Samsung is yet to confirm anything officially.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy S23 series smartphones – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra on February 1 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and feature an updated design.
