Samsung is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphones this week. The company has scheduled the launch event for January 17, where it will launch the Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone series. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will consist of three smartphones — Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Now a new leak about the upcoming smartphone series has surfaced online.
Popular tipster Evan Glass has shared a series of marketing images which shows the features coming to the yet-to-launch Galaxy S24 smartphone series. The leak reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series may include a Live Translate feature for phone calls. Along with this, the smartphone series may also get a Note Assist feature in the Samsung’s Notes app.
Additionally, the specifications tipped highlight a 6.8-inch QHD+ display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, explicitly characterised as “flat,” a 6.7-inch QHD+ display on the S24+, and a 6.2-inch FHD+ display on the S24, all boasting 2,600 nits brightness. The primary cameras for the S24 and S24+ are 50MP, whereas the S24 Ultra features an impressive 200MP main camera. Furthermore, the S24 and S24+ are constructed with aluminum, while the Ultra variant is crafted from titanium.

On the other hand, another online report by Android Headlines suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series may get seven years of Android OS updates.
The current policy of the company involves offering 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security patches for recent flagship devices. However, according to this report, Samsung is considering extending the support to provide 7 years of both major updates and security patches.
