Samsung starts rolling out One UI 5.1.1 update to Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 – Times of India

Samsung recently rolled out One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphones. The update brought several new features from the latest-generation foldables to the older version. Now, SamMobile has reported that the company has started rolling out the One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy ZFold3 smartphones in Europe and Asian countries.
According to the report, the update rolling out in Europe is available for Galaxy Z Fold3 (SM-F926B) and has the firmware version F926BXXU5FWH5. And, the Z Flip3 update has the firmware version F711BXXU6FWH3.
What’s new with One UI 5.1.1 for Z Flip3 and Z Fold3
First and foremost, the update brings Android Security Patch for August 2023. Then there are improvements and changes that’ve already been seen on the Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. This includes improved multitasking and Flex Mode capabilities.

Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 introduces a novel feature that allows users to hover the S Pen above a floating app icon, providing a glimpse of the app’s content.
Apart from these, both the foldables now supports more apps in Flex Mode and brings customisation options for Flex Mode toolbar along with better media controls.
Quick Share feature has also been improved along with Samsung Health. Things like improved Sleep coaching, more sleep data, skin temperature during sleep, etc have been added to these phones.
Camera has also been updated with the up-date. For instance, the phone now has Enhanced remaster previews and faster way to apply filters in photos. Samsung has also added the Copy effects option with update.
Moreover, the update also brings drag and drop with two hands, app cache information in My Files, improved memory management in Device Care and more.
